Foundry Services

Offering Specialized Semiconductor Services

SecureFoundry delivers specialized commercailization, reverse engineering, production, and technical data investigation services. Although we cater primarily to the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), we also serve commercial clients in the aerospace, telecommunications, automotive, and IoT sectors. Our expertise in semiconductor technologies ensures mission-critical reliability for defense applications and innovative, market-ready solutions for commercial enterprises.

Reverse Engineering to Sustain Legacy Devices

Our reverse engineering capabilities unlock the secrets of complex semiconductor components and circuit card assemblies (CCAs). For our DoD clients, we analyze legacy systems, obsolete parts, and adversary hardware to sustain critical infrastructure and enhance cybersecurity. We extract detailed schematics, firmware, and functional specifications using advanced tools like X-ray tomography, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and automated de-layering. Non-destructive imaging and circuit tracing ensure precision without compromising component integrity. Commercial clients benefit from our ability to recover lost design data, analyze competitor products, or ensure compatibility in legacy systems. Our ITAR-compliant processes and secure facilities guarantee confidentiality, making us a trusted partner for sensitive projects.

End-to-End Chip and Circuit Card Assemblies Production

SecureFoundry provides end-to-end production services to transform your designs into high-quality chips and CCAs. Advanced chip packaging (e.g., system-in-package, 3D stacking) and CCA assembly (surface-mount and through-hole) are performed in ISO 14644-1 Class 5 cleanrooms. Automated systems and rigorous testing (AOI, X-ray, ICT) meet DoD standards (IPC-A-610 Class 3, MIL-STD-883) and commercial scaling requirements.

Commercial clients receive scalable solutions, from rapid prototyping to high-volume production, optimized for cost and time-to-market. Our robust supply chain management mitigates risks like component obsolescence, ensuring seamless production.

Technical Data Investigation Services

Our technical data investigations provide critical insights into components and systems. We navigate complex contracts, legacy documentation, and supply chain records for DoD applications to trace component origins, specifications, and performance characteristics. Combining expert knowledge with reverse engineering, we recover undocumented or lost technical data, such as material compositions and design parameters, using tools like SEM and signal tracing software.

This work is vital for sustaining legacy defense systems or assessing foreign technologies. At the same time, our commercial clients leverage these services to verify third-party components, resolve intellectual property disputes, or integrate legacy systems with modern platforms. Our investigations reduce risks, enhance interoperability, and accelerate development cycles.
